UFO REPORT 01/14/2011

California - 01-26-11 - I took my dog out to the backyard around 11:20 PM, and while we were on the porch, I noticed two very bright lights in the southwestern sky.

A few minutes later I saw they had not moved, and now a third light was flickering, as if it was one of those new "energy safe" light bulbs just turning on. They made no noise and sat still in their triangle-like formation.
I immediately ran into the house and grabbed my camcorder to document what was happening. I had a hard time keeping the lights in frame as they were also quite low, and view was often obstructed by trees.
So I got my ladder and went onto my roof to film. I sat in awe watching and filming the amber/orange colored orbs for next 17 minutes until they began to change shape, almost appearing like a helicopter before flying away one by one.
I uploaded my video to youtube right away that same night.
Around 30 minutes after the last orb vanished into the night, two helicopters (I assume police) began to sweep the area in the direction the objects were headed as they disappeared. This sweep lasted almost an hour, then returned again the following night repeating the actions performed the night of the event. Source: www.mufon.com
California - 01-27-11 - Submitted by UFO Field Investigator. The witness had a very large German Shepherd dog, which was very nervous after midnight some evening around Thanksgiving, November, 2010, so the witness let her dog outside on her patio at her home in Campo Seco, California.
It was a very clear night, extremely dark out, no moon. She witnessed several UFOs filling the sky, which scared her. She thought it was an invasion!
There were a dozen or more craft, which were each approximately 300' tall, and 100' wide at the base. Each craft was surrounded on the periphery with 30 to 50 flickering white-orange lights, which outlined the shape of the craft.
The shape of each craft reminded her of an upside-down coffee-mug.
They were extremely large, and were close to the ground (below aircraft height). The craft moved in a formation pattern slowly circling, and some of them moved down towards a water pond nearby, while the rest remained in formation.
She doesn't know if any landed or not. There was a flash of white light, and the craft were then motionless, and just hovered. The craft were completely silent, with no sound at all. Source: www.mufon.com
California - 01-27-11 - At around 11:30 to 12:30, I was looking at the stars (as I usually do) and saw very faint, very dim light shooting across the sky. I was able to see the International Space Station a few weeks ago (California), and I think it travels around 17,000 MPH.
At that altitude, this UFO had to have been going at least 6-10 times the speed of the ISS. I first saw it while looking at the normal constellations I see.
I am looking basically straight up, and I see movement. I focus on the movement, and realize how fast it is going first. It's very dim, and looks very large, almost as if I have an out of focus view on a star, but traveling at amazing speeds.
I would say it would cross from horizon to horizon (maintained at an average speed) in less than 4 minutes. I've never seen any UFO travel so fast, and making it difficult to see makes me believe it's extraterrestrial instead of government craft.
This lasted for about 15 seconds, at which point it went dim, and I could no longer see it (I have 20/20 vision and am far-sighted, so I see these better than a lot of my friends).
My friend from inside heard me as I said in awe things along the lines of "What is that?" and "I've never seen any UFO do that," and came outside to see what I was saying. It disappeared shortly before that unfortunately.
Somewhat of an oval shape, but hard to distinguish. It looked very out of focus, and very dim. Source: www.mufon.com
California - 01-31-11 - At just before 8 PM, last night, I very clearly saw two objects with four distinctly round, brightly colored lights: blue, reddish-pink, green and a yellow. The lights were so bright they immediately caught my attention and were very easy to follow in the night.
I was driving North on I-5 about to exit Arena Blvd. At first, I mistook them for a weird air show off to my right over Sacramento's Arco Arena, just south of the Sacramento Intl. Airport, but when the objects wandered from the very large parking lot and followed a road across an empty field from me I realized they were not kites, remote controlled planes, nor any other plane for that matter.
They were a block away and at one point flew under the lights of the empty street. The ships appeared to be black under the orange street lights. I thought they were only V-shaped, but at times they appeared triangular, but as though they had slightly extended rear sides.
It looked as if the "drivers" were having fun, traveling slowly along the road, twirling, rising up, stopping and hovering, and sometimes rolling in another direction (blatantly defying the laws of physics).
They stayed between nearly touching ground and 100 ft in the air. I live near an airport, I know how planes move, and these were not planes. I can best describe their movement as a mix of that of a kite and a stunt bi-plane.
One of them flew under a red light in an empty intersection, while the other flew over. In relation to the size of the traffic light pole, they were between 20-30 ft wide and 3-4 ft tall. Source: www.mufon.com
